I’m Ashley, owner of Root Remedy Electrology

​Although I’m new to the field of electrology, I bring a lifelong passion for biological sciences and natural and holistic approaches to living and personal care. ​My journey into this field is deeply personal. Like many women, I began to notice unwanted facial hair in my 30s. I turned to laser hair removal only to find that it was not the right match for me, leaving me with hypertrichosis. The increased hair growth led me down a cycle of tweezing and plucking that led to scarring and dark spots I never expected. ​Eventually, I discovered electrolysis — the only FDA-approved method for permanent hair removal — and booked an appointment. With consistent treatments and a compassionate technician, the hair disappeared… and so did the scars. That experience transformed the way I saw myself, and I knew I wanted to help others experience the same transformation.

​Rooted Electrology was born from the desire to be a solution for those silently struggling with unwanted hair, scarring, and the emotional toll it takes.
